From Minneapolis to California, it’s time we demand an end to cooperation with these federal agencies.

It doesn’t matter where you come from — we are all Californians. We cannot stand by while unconstitutional, unlawful, and immoral activity takes place in our backyard.

Addressing California's wildfires takes boots on the ground. It takes workers. But whenever there’s a budget deficit, the first thing on the chopping block is government worker salaries. We cannot protect the land by devaluing the people who save it.

Donald Trump has spent months sowing chaos and trying to turn our cities into war zones, from California to Minnesota, with untrained, masked, armed ICE agents running amok in our neighborhoods and terrorizing our communities.

Now, a woman is dead. There must be accountability.
ICE agent fatally shoots woman in Minneapolis amid immigration crackdown
The Department of Homeland Security accused the victim of being a "rioter" and that the ICE officer who pulled the trigger was "fearing for his life." Mayor Jacob Frey rejected claims of self-defense.

This is political retribution—straight out of the authoritarian playbook.

Trump is attacking parents, kids, and low-income families to punish states that won't fall in line. He's using our most vulnerable as bargaining chips.

It's despicable and Californians won't stand for it.

Five years ago, AOC and I hid in my barricaded office as a mob of insurrectionists broke into the Capitol at Donald Trump's bidding.

With Trump back in power, the threat he poses to our democracy has never been greater. We fought back then—and won. This year, we'll do it again.

We're already paying billions for the effects of homelessness: ER visits, emergency shelters, & other cascading costs.

Investing in alternatives—interim housing and support services—saves taxpayers money, treats people with humanity, and moves people toward long-term stability.

Donald Trump slashed nearly $30 BILLION/yr from Medi-Cal, which rural hospitals rely on to keep their doors open.

His proposed fix? $233 million to California—less than states with smaller rural populations.

As Governor, I’ll defend rural CA and fight back against this BS.

PG&E’s outage in San Francisco over the weekend was unacceptable. Energy is an essential resource and utilities should work in the public interest—not to pad their bottom line by raising rates and neglecting faulty infrastructure.

Is President Trump the new Scrooge? When you add a 30% tax to the cost of Christmas, you’re not just taxing goods, you’re taxing family traditions.

Higher prices under the tree means a direct hit to the holiday spirit for American families and small businesses.

Workers are paying more for health insurance than ever before, but can't even get appointments. Deductibles are often hard to reach, and Donald Trump is letting premiums double for millions.

We need to lower health care costs so that every Californian has the coverage and care they need.

Housing costs a lot in California—and that’s made our homelessness crisis one of the worst in the nation.

As we work to bring down costs, investing in interim housing like Cherry Hill—and the ongoing services residents need—is critical to solving unsheltered homelessness.

For too long, our country has expected care to happen for free or for pennies on the dollar. That is morally wrong and economically stupid.

Investing in care is a strategic move to grow our population and economy. It’s time we change how we value our care providers.

Let's talk taxes. California’s budget instability is like a rollercoaster, and it's driven by worsening wealth inequality.

We can afford to make the investments we need in our state—we just have to bring down costs, make smart budget decisions, and grow our economy.
