I ordered a StarFighter from StarLabs back in June because it looked like the perfect machine
Delivery initially was end of August but it's now end of December and it's still delayed. Apparently, in production.
There are updates but, fuck, it's hard not to start feeling dread around it now

Remembered I have an old shitty Lenovo laptop so... bit the bullet, installed Void Linux with Sway and spent a few hours configuring it
I am a the happy 🐧
Not done-done yet but it's a start. Still need to sort out audio, couple more waybar elements, and install a browser lmao

I *like* PHP, don't get me wrong
But I feel like, every time I go to do something in PHP that I can do in like.. C++ or something, it's just inherently not as good as an experience
I think I'm just at a point where C++ is still a bit scary but I've used it enough to love the flexibility lol
