Usually disruption in industries is blocked by regulation or predatory monopolies that buyout competitors.
TCGs have neither.
If you want to take down MTG or Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh!, first build a game that everyone wants to play, that everyone can play, and don't make a profit for 3 years.
