i've been teaching a friend about gamedev and i realized he was getting so much more done than i was, because i kept getting stuck in a perfectionism loop trying to do everything perfect on the first try while he was able to make mistakes and fix them later.

However, bleating “doomed, might as well die” is one thing to say to yourself but a whole other matter to say to a generation of kids. It’s our responsibility to try.

i need to figure out my nas, truenas has been very funky and my zfs pool currently has a usb hard drive because two of the sata ports on the motherboard broke off
might set it up on nixos :3
not the most typical nas os but it would let me configure it in the same git repo as my main server […]
