#EduInFocus Q1 - First, there needs to be a culture of trust in the building. Informal walk-throughs, a "pineapple" welcoming system, learning walks, and other similar activities need to occur frequently so that staff don't equate a visit with an evaluation.

I did it too. I think that was such an important skill - both the understanding of the grade and the math involved.

As simple as it sounds, posting work on the classroom walls works wonders. As a junior high teacher, I thought the students didn't care about seeing their work, but once I started posting, they loved it! #EduInFocus

It is a good tool for focusing on what is truly important and where you should focus. The challenge is the nonstop, urgent things that constantly pop up in an administrator's day.
