Trump plans to reinforce a binary definition of gender based on biological sex at birth, effectively erasing recognition of transgender identities at the federal level. This represents the restoration of sanity in the USA on this particular issue. Hopefully other's will follow.

A year ago, wave after wave of drones overflew Langley Air Force Base. It looks like they've learned nothing from those incursions. A foreign power can fly drones over your bases and gather as much intel as they like and you can do nothing about it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQe1... #drones #drones

Syria, everybody seems happy about this and I understand why, but couldn't it end up being a fundamentalist hell hole for women, like Afghanistan? Not my country I know but neither was Nazi Germany and it was morally sound to condemn the way they treated people. Power vacuums, scary things. #Syria

Trans activists have redefined "woman" to include anyone who identifies as such, even men. This broad scope dilutes the word’s meaning, stripping it of clarity and specificity. When a term encompasses too much, it risks becoming meaningless and fails to communicate anything. #LanguageMatters

Be very careful when you make a claim about a large group of people. It's quite likely you're making an unjustified claim and possibly even a false claim. How many sweeping generalisation do you see in your feed I wonder, quite a lot right?

I got my first block. No matter how sensitively, logically and carefully you craft a response, somebody is going to take offense. It's human nature to feel attacked when somebody disagrees with you. Not many people can master their emotions well enough to think critically about their own views.

Why I use AI art: The AI I use avoids using others' art without permission by training on licensed or public domain data. No direct replication occurs; it learns patterns, not copying artworks. It offers me as a non artist unparalleled flexibility in representing my ideas graphically.

Everywhere I look on here, and on the other place, it's all about how much "we" hate the other side, how stupid "they" are and how much better "we" are than "them". You can't speak about tolerance and kindness while you're organising a witch hunt against anybody you disagree with. #tolerance

Why do we post online? Unless we're exceptional nobody cares what we think. Most of us are not going to change the world or even somebodies mind. It's far from the most rewarding form of human interaction. OK if we're selling something it makes sense but most of us aren't. I wonder why do we do it?
