I think the idea that we must hide from bad things is, in part, how we got here. Televising the Vietnam War brought the reality of the brutality right into American living rooms and helped end the war.

It's important to see footage like this lest we forget or ignore what is happening.

He had 4 months. What has Trump accomplished in 4 months? Breaking up media consolidation and reinstating the Fairness Doctrine would have had ripples that would have made it that much harder for Trump to win. The right wing media machine would've been steeply curtailed.
