28 Years Later: The Bone Temple 8.5/10
Admittedly doesn't work that well as a sequel to the last film but Ralph Fiennes' character is so great in this it barely even matters.
Also I went into this believing Jimmy's group would be chill, lmaoooo

Dafoe and Keaton are great in this, super uncohesive otherwise. Juice's ex was a waste, she's established as this big threat and when the climax happens she's taken care of instantly like what?? Baby Beetlejuice scene was also horrid like wtf.

People hype this show up like it's the Sistene Chapel so it's sad I waited for that one episode where it all clicked and it never came. To me, the constant stoicness of every character got so old fast, it actively restraints most of the story.

I understand all those flashback scenes can be pacebreakers but in fairness they are sort of necessary to support the admittedly undeep characterization. It does make Akaza a pretty effective character for what it's worth

Zod and company are hilariously auraless, Luthor is barely utilized and Superman permanently depowers himself like a dumbass only to regain them later with no explaination. The og director got fired and replaced before filming was done and yep you can tell

Spy x Family season 3 9/10
The three mini arcs really balance things better than season 2 with its cruise arc, though I did prefer that arc overall. On the other hand this one didn't have a fuckass Becky episode so it again balances it out. This is still such a great series.

I can deal with the slower pacing but it simply isn't as snappy as Breaking Bad or BCS's first seasons. That kinda comes with a plot where pretty much only the lead gets to have a personality I guess
