I watched this when it first came out because people said “it’s the full Fire Emblem anime we never got” and I loved it at the time. SUPER surprised, but happy!

Publicly traded companies have to bow to shareholders that often demand infinite financial growth forcing them to pass the problem on to their customers and especially workers, hence the constant mass layoffs we see. It’s happening all around, but the game industry is especially poisoned by it.

I know they've made a couple Speed Racer games over the years, and I particularly remember the DS one being pretty neat, but I've been dying of thirst for something that really captures the movie. The franchise owners are clearly lost on what to do with it, so come on. It's PERFECT for video games.

This comes to my mind today because I was thinking about Pokémon Gen 3. I feel that it's gained a negative reputation in my mind because it's "my least favorite of the golden age," but that's ridiculous, because even if that's true it's still pretty much the best thing I've ever played in my life.
