2025 is my year of creativity. I am going to be open-minded. I am going to learn new things.

Every morning while I blow dry my hair, Dr. Veronica Waffles sits nearby and stares at me with the deepest level of concern her little face can muster.

I bought more beads, accessories, and a jewelry making kit. The goal is to be able to make cute beaded bikini tops and a fun bag before summer.

I guess I need to accept that nothing can ever make me a morning person. I may have to compromise, no thanks to capitalism, but I'll never get used to being active in the morning.

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
