I’ve not insulted you or the level you’ve reached. All I am saying is the vast majority of employees in the US are not at a level or in careers where that’s possible. I wish it was true, but it isn’t unfortunately. And if you choose to let them “work the shit out of you” that is your choice as well.

There are only a small number of employees that would ever be able to do that.

I have never worked at a company that would let you negotiate healthcare cost. Has always been one size fits all.

I used to change jobs every 3 to 4 years. It was the best way to have new experiences, get pay raises and learn new things. Too many companies stopped offering viable growth avenues.

An add on to that is will he apply the same standard to each in order for tariffs to be lifted.
