I heard @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com repeatedly call Trump "stupid" or "the most stupid President in American history" and now echoing "I wish her well." Lawrence has been joyfully celebrating Trump's demise for a decade now yet he hasn't gone away. It's time to admit that we're the stupid ones here.

I believe any reasonably intelligent person should have been able to predict that as well. But who knows anymore.

Both @sanders.senate.gov and you seem to be the loudest voices of reason at the moment. @schumer.senate.gov displayed a blatant lack of leadership and a traitor to the Democratic Party. But now what? Where do we go from here? We need more than just protests and loud voices.

For what it's worth, I agree with you 100%. What happened to the numerous emails constituents receive daily from lawmakers in DC saying "we are fighting for you?" We're both NYC born and bred. We know what fighting means and that's not what some Dems are doing, especially the minority leader.

What has been the impact of previous blackouts? The last one I know of was on the 28th of February. Correct?

And there happens to be a document called the United States Constitution that outlines quite a bit of dos and don’ts but no one today seems able to enforce it.
