AFTER i make room on my memory card JESUS CHRIST

the worst part is when i discovered i had no room on my memory card after getting halfway through the game 😭 ngl it was also nostalgic playing through a game leaving the console on between sessions because I can't save lmao

using the scanner to learn the names, interests, and thoughts of individual apes turned the game into a Playing Outside With Friends -like which is great. just a bit more engaging premise than the typical collectathon platformers i'm used to playing.

i'm a sucker for the "playstation 1 nostalgia ambient atmospheric jungle drum and bass mix 1" music it has. making the music quieter when you're sneaking up on a monkey is the kind of chef's kiss that makes me squeal like a boy getting kissed by his longtime chef crush for the first time.
