Since I originally designed Protia as a fighting gym leader, it makes sense for Bryn to get her badge from her as a gift. (And or taking the badge and Protia as a prize for winning the normal way)

Meralda is/was/will be one of the best time mages in history.....Or the future... or now? She has had something of an issue with one of her spells that's caused her to not exactly follow the normal flow of time. But she's not in any rush to fix that since now she can have book club with herself(s).
