The Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee (JLARC) will meet on Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. in House Hearing Room A on the capitol campus. The meeting topics will include presentations by the Department of Health and the Liquor and Cannabis Board about strategic management plans; JLARC recommendations implementation; public records data collection; the Office of Privacy and Data Protection; and the 2025 tax preference reviews. The Citizen Commission for Performance Measurement of Tax Preferences will meet next week. They will discuss and adopt comments on the 2025 tax preference reviews. They’ll also hear an overview of the 2026 tax preference reviews.

The Citizen Commission for Performance Measurement of Tax Preferences will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. in hearing room C of the O'Brien building on the capitol campus. The commissioners will discuss and adopt comments on the 2025 tax preference reviews. JLARC staff will review seven tax preferences in 2026. The reviews must address questions about public policy objectives, beneficiaries, revenue and economic impacts, similar tax preferences in other states, and racial equity considerations.
