I was going to say group_by() but it looks like a bunch of other people beat me to it so to summarize() this discussion I would say group_by()😂

Wait, isn’t that a huge violation of their code of ethics?

Ooh that would be interesting. Maybe with like an average sickness indicator to go along with it.

6/6 Some days are hard and I know today is one of the hardest.

But remember to thank your team today! The people who keep you going even when you are struggling yourself.

5/6 Individual pilots who were tired were of course more likely to make errors than those who were fresh.

But teams who had worked together for longer were better at catching errors than members of crews who had just started flying together.

4/6 I was reading recently in this book about a study where scientists looked at flight crews in simulators to see the effect of exhaustion.

Here’s the crazy part, though: teams who were more exhausted actually did better overall. This was not what anyone expected.

3/6 Also you stayed up too late on New Year’s. The days after that you just kind of kept staying up later and getting up later. Your body is now effectively in a different time zone, making today even earlier.

2/6 But on those days you had hope. You had holidays to look forward to. Now you’re thinking about bills coming due and calories adding pounds and the very dark state of the world right now due to an unprecedented level of avarice and a dearth of empathy.

This is really cool. How long does it take to update? For example it was correct when I first clicked on it, at 3:52 EST, but as of 4:08 EST it's still not midnight in Madagascar/Moscow.

This is a clever way to get all the titles in!

My usual caveats: I don't know any of these authors unless noted. Just because I liked a book doesn't mean I agree with everything an author said. This is not an endorsement. No, I cannot review a book for you. I have a job, but I love reading to expand my horizons!

48-53. Cleopatra in Space Series by Mike Maihack- Okay these are cheating a bit. But all three of my kids loved them so I read them, too. And I have to agree that the concept was cool and the artwork was quite creative.
