La Vuelta is now in the autonomous community of Aragón. The race reaches the capital Zaragoza tomorrow, a city named after Caesar Augustus who founded it as a 'Colonia Inmune' in 14BC. This statue, in the Plaza de Aragón, shows the Emperor's power hasn't waned ... 😉

Board with headline text - Sunshine on a Dull Day with a copy of the painting by Donna McCartney. Summary of text below. This exhibition celebrates the work of patents created during the 'Art in Renal Care' Project at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. This is a collaboration between 'Art in Hospital', Dr Mun Woo, Specialist Consultant in Renal Medicine, Patients and Staff. Over a year long period AiH worked with patients in a diverse programme of painting, drawing, digital media, printmaking and handmade paper making. Making art while receiving treatment allowed patients to focus on the world outside and the benefits of engaging in creative processes. The accompanying display on the 'History of Dialysis' was the contribution of Dr Kate Stevens. August 2025.
