Everything ended well (after I breached security - they had a broken door lock) so I walked straight in. I have an amended temporary airmen’s certificate while I wait for my proper credentials to arrive. Next battle will probably be SSA, followed by ILSOS (for Real ID dl and voter registration).

That should have been FSDO (Flight Standards District Office). They deal with regular pilots and not remote (drone) pilots most of the time - so it was a bit of a scramble on their side to find and fill in the right paperwork, since it wasn’t a new application but an amendment to an existing one.

I make 3-4Qts of chicken stock most weeks.
I use it for soups (duh), and sauces, bases for casseroles, risotto if I'm feeling like some Italian.
Once upon a time it cost about the same as getting the equivalent number of cartons, but the cost of chicken wings has exploded ... but its still better.
