Wānanalua Congregational Church (UCC) was established in 1838 in Hāna, Maui, and is the oldest church in east Maui.

No matter who you are, whom you love, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
Our Sanctuary was constructed beginning in 1842 from local stone, timber, and coral. We have urgent needs to address: windows, roof, floor, and steeple.

Donate securely online with the QR code or indicate "Restoration Fund" on your check, payable to WCC PO Box 188, Hāna, Hawai'i 96713.

Mahalo.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them; those who are being tortured, as though you yourselves were being tortured."

What does it mean to say the kin-dom of God is near? Translations say “is imminent,” “is at hand,” “is near,” or “is within.” Are we crazy to say these words in 2025?

Let's explore together what it meant for Jesus to make this claim 2000 years ago and what it means for us to do the same today.
