Our proposal to continue using the Berzelius GPU cluster for our important research was just rejected. To limit the access to researchers having funding from the Wallenberg foundation is the wrong path if the goal is to increase AI research in Sweden.

I really dislike the idea of submitting a short version (5 pages) and a long version (14 pages) at the same time (and the long version will only be read if you make it to step 2). But at least Im guaranteed to get written feedback on the short version.

Another paper showing that diffusion models memorize training images, as @muhamadusman.bsky.social and I recently demonstrated. If you use diffusion models to generate synthetic images, make sure to check if they have simply generated copies of the training images.
