Here we go again, now on bluesky. Freelance JP/EN translator. Somehow got N1. Used to fansub bugmen and old robot things, now just trying his best to stay alive and failing miserably.

So... if you need anything translated from Japanese to English, I'm open for commissions, I guess?

I might be wrong about that, of course, but the fact is she screwed up twice and she's supposed to play a hero for kids in a country which culture is all about keeping a good image, and will gladly cancel people if a scandal gets out.

Like bruh there's literally zero mention of this on the JP fanbase and if I have any money I'd gladly bet 90% of the fanbase and anyone involved don't even know she's only half Japanese.

Saw the whole Gozyu Unicorn shenanigans and it just reminded me how japanese fanbase and western fanbase always have different reactions on well, everything. Not just tokusatsu, but games, animes, what have you.

Neuropathy getting worse. No new leads as far as jobs or commissions goes. Debts piling up. Getting more and more hopeless with each passing month.
If everything happens for a reason it would be really nice if I could hear it, because I'm finding less and less reason to stay.

Had a storm and a nearby tree just fell to my place. Nothing big, thankfully, but still caused enough damage of which I can't afford to repair on top of all these bills.
Controller also decided to finally die on me, so there's another entry on the ever thinning 'things keeping me sane' list gone.

Wasn't expecting zerk pickup since we have Louhi and Beni on pickup (but instead we get funny double pickups of them), so there goes my light Koyan savings. But at least now I have both single target and aoe zerks.
Will probably scrounge up some more and fish for NP3 because it just feels right.

Feels like as far as gacha games go my luck for the last few months has been very good, hovering well above average except for that one Summer Tiamat incident.
On one hand I do wish some of that luck goes to IRL stuff instead.
But I just got 2 copies of Zerktoria in like 40 pulls so yay.

I 100%'d Silksong. All my complaints before still stand and I still can't recommend this to newcomers (play HK instead), but I still had fun with it and I'll definitely get back to it when new content hits. Can't wait for Godhome/boss rush mode.

On top of that they had the gall to say I can only apply for compensations after everything is back to normal.
Even though they can't say when.
Even though it's 100% their screwup.

Just realized it's already the 16th and so far it's another month of zero progress. All my applications got rejected, had some comms inquiries but they all fizzled out.
Net has died for the last ~4 days and they keep giving vague answers whenever I call them daily.

So apparently postgame unlock requires way less grinding than I originally believed (which is what you get for trusting random game sites, I suppose), so I did that and beat the final final boss. Apparently so far only 0.6% players beat it on Playstation, so yay.

All said, Silksong is still an easy 7~8/10 for me, it's just way too overtuned.

I'm all for difficult boss battles but after 20 hours of the game, a good chunk of it are runbacks and grinding, I'd rather wait for QoL updates.
