If solutes are removed
If antinutrients are degraded
If foam risk is reduced before the final cook
Then the functional goals are met, even if the pathway differs.

I have cooked this for myself hundreds of times and it predictably has no negative digestion outcomes. I don't go by culinary authority.

If the claim is:
“Pressure cooking is not soaking”
→ Correct
If the claim is:
“Therefore it does not reduce gas, antinutrients, or foaming when liquid is discarded”
→ Scientifically false

Soaking is not entirely different to pressure cooking— the liquid is still drained and it's cooked again I even included a * disclaimer. I am not at all concerned as you are and I've cooked heaps of the stuff this way.

Misrepresentation and Scaremongering/fearmongering is a no no on my page.

it's safe sound and effective for me, might be slightly less quality but nutritionally no concerns here. I also don't have any issues with the pressure cooker foaming so long as plenty of water is used (3-4x beans height level in pot) and not releasing the pressure early

The bowl above is the "quick soak" drained liquid which will go on the compost heap #naturalgardening #veganic #composting
