Agree and the whole broken earth series. That was my gateway into all things N.K. Jemisin and have loved all the other series too

I also love the build of their relationship and the devotion. A few I've liked (not that you know me) are the Red Queen series, Lessons in Chemistry (not romance, but the relationship is everything), Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, 4th wing, a discovery of witches. Maybe this will be a start ☺️

I've only heard good things, so I'm excited to start reading it!
