The number of different pronunciations from the crew on a FLL-ORH flight the other day was pretty great. All mostly correct, but also all slightly different.

Trivially easy if you know the name and where/when they're traveling. There's very little security in airline reservations. And undoing a check-in can happen until departure.

The carrier also launched the Sfeer loyalty program. It is revenue-based for earning both awards and status. But no details on those rates. The company is encouraging enrollment with promise of access to early bookings when those open up. And a special badge in your profile.

OK, I finally had time to dig into this more. Riyadh Air will be operating flights, but only selling seats "to select groups and Riyadh Air employees," not the general public.

Appears to be an end-run on LHR slot usage rules, not real operations.

Beginning October 26th, Riyadh Air will commence daily launch flights from Riyadh to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) aboard its designated Boeing 787-9 technical spare aircraft, "Jamila”. These carefully sequenced flights, initially on sale to select groups and Riyadh Air employees, are a critical phase in ensuring unparalleled operational readiness ahead of receiving the first aircraft deliveries from Boeing, while utilizing Riyadh Air’s recently awarded slot at London Heathrow (LHR). Flights will depart Riyadh at 0315 (RX401) with an early morning arrival time into London Heathrow at 0730, the return flights depart London at 0930 (RX402), arriving back to Riyadh at 1915 (all times local).

That aligns with the NH definition.

I should also note that we define mopeds as devices that travel up to 30mph and that can include an electric motor, but not if otherwise qualified as an e-bike.

We also define motorcycles (30MPH+) and motor-driven cycles (5 HP). But it gets confusing.

That would not apply in NH based on RSA 259:27-a.

In MA there is no definition of a Class 3).

In NY Class 3 seems to be limited to 25mph. But also references 16 C.F.R. Part 1512.1 which only seems to define Class 1 bikes.

259:27-a Electric Bicycle. –
"Electric bicycle" shall mean a pedaled vehicle equipped with an electric motor of less than 750 watts that falls within one of the following 3 classes:
I. "Class 1 electric bicycle" shall mean a pedaled vehicle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling, and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
II. "Class 2 electric bicycle" shall mean a pedaled vehicle equipped with a motor that may be used exclusively to propel the bicycle and that is not capable of providing assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
III. "Class 3 electric bicycle" shall mean a pedaled vehicle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 28 miles per hour.

In NH at least a Class 3 e-Bike does not have a throttle; it must be pedaled to get to 28mph. Most of the issues I've seen/heard are throttle-use-related, not from folks pedaling.

It is nuance, but it matters a lot as we try to work through regulatory changes to address the challenges.

I'm staying at an Airbnb just up the road and grabbing dinner at that food court. I know I'm selling myself short given I'm in Lisbon, but it is easy and tasty after long days.

The judge finds that because "defendants' conduct likely violates the First Amendnent," factors weigh in favor of entering a restraining order against them.

She will not limit the order to the Broadview facility, but will limit it to the northern (court) district of Illinois.

Explanations of the FDIO system in reply to prior post:

FDIO is the flight strip machine in every tower that is used to print strips with flight data. Any route/altitude/proposed departure time amendments are made via FDIO. I am not really sure how you run an operation without it.

Yes and it also distributes quite a bit of other data and interfaces with quite a few systems like TFDM. Maybe they shouldn't have laid off most of the FDIO engineers back in April.
