it’s because they almost went out of business in the late 00’s, too many custom parts with custom tooling for comparatively small runs, in very high quality materials, just cost too much. they’ve slashed costs since then

the worst part is that they’re making it better(?) in new versions of the HDR standards by letting the media itself pick its level of motion smoothing on a per-scene basis. the intent is to combat judder from 24p sources rendered on low-persistence displays but the result is gonna be weird

unrelated to the current thing but holy shit Flask sucks so much, i have hated every single time i have tried to use it. “but everyone uses it!” no. everyone is forced to use it when learning python, which is how they teach people to code now. get a real framework

well, that, and if you're sick it's a moral failing - it wouldn't have happened if you ate better or meditated more or used The Secret to manifest health or if god loved you or if you were wealthier (evidence of god loving you). have you tried being less full of sin and chemicals?
