I used to run an ad agency and was a Chair of a Children’s Hospice as well as being a Trustee of some charities. Nowadays loves the creative arts, eating and drinking. Plus lots of politics, travelling and a bit of golf.

Moving home should be easy but even when all the advice is to arrange things prior to, all the service providers need proof you’re living at the new address! You can’t win.

The Trump felonies without punishment is a new low for the US underlining the fact that if you’re powerful you can get away with almost anything. It gives ‘the leader of the free world’ a new definition. Appalled, I am.

I’ve just received a penalty notice for driving in a bus lane at Cambridge Station whilst picking my partner up. I lived there for 30 years but had no idea about the road change. Just another cheap scam imv. Anyone else?

I have to say I don’t feel ripped off by Apple’s iCloud charge. Is this just another example that caveat emptor doesn’t apply any more and now just buy then pile into a class action and wait for a payout?
