so nipple flesh is just like really difficult cause it really doesn't like foreign objects in it, nipples also regenerate really fast, this would normally mean they would heal fast but the foreign object really confuses the nip flesh

I know multiple people with PA and they have told me nipples still are more maintenance lol a PA take about 6 months to a year to fully heal.

they're one of the most high maintenance piercings to get ngl

yea, they do need daily cleaning with saline water, and after like 6-8 months using a little bit of tea tree oil help speed up healing and keeps em extra clean

the other issue is when a Piercing starts migrating it leaves a trail of scar tissue, and for a nipple that makes it very difficult to repierce since scar tissue is far denser than normal flesh

its not as bad as it sounds and if you wanna be extra cautious you can put bandaids over ur nipples to keep them from snagging on clothes, what really fucked mine up was I was walking past my bedroom door which has a tapestry on it and a thread from that snagged my nipple and it caught it really bad

nipple piercings are different cause of the tissue nipples are made of mine took 2 full years to fully heal, it takes around 1-3 years depending on the person.

yea it can happen to any healing piercing if it snags or catches on something it cause it to start to migrate and once it starts migrating the chances of your body rejecting the piercing also go up

treat them so carefully when they're healing for the first 1-2 years one of mine snagged in a shirt and started migrating before it fully healed so now I'm only left with one and too much scar tissue to repierce the other
