And I hope the Dems don’t go beyond that. Human rights, as you said and I agree, are human rights. Our system sucks but it’s the one we have and if I have to vote for a Dem that doesn’t make me feel 100% great to stop a Republican who will have a boot to all our necks, I will.

If we don’t have an ideal Dem in the general, I’m voting for them anyways to advocate not getting a fascist Republican. The “compromise” was already made for me.

I do not disagree with primary-ing the hell out of anti trans Dems, but if they don’t make it to a general and we sit it out, we get hardcore Nazis in play. It’s just how it works. I don’t like it at all but that’s how a first past the post system works

If another right wing Republican is on the ballot and it’s between them or centrist Dem, I’ll vote for the Dem because I don’t want an R in power. It’s not perfect but it’s how our system works. Sorry.

No. The system is compromise and the lesser of two evils. So don’t vote for the “milder fascist” to get the bigger one.

Two party system is picking the lesser of two evils. It sucks but the that’s how it works. By not voting D because the candidate isn’t ideal you get an R who is horrible across everything.
