I just came here to talk about the pie! Crimes against baking!

I want to be snarky and offer condolences, but Vegas has upsides like everywhere. I do think that Northern Nevada is the more beautiful and interesting.

Wow! The world *is* small! I'm up in the Biggest Little City (also the friendliest in my experience).

I don't claim them as mine: I'm an American living in Nevada; I was fortunate to live in the UK whilst growing up. I agree that I can never get proper sausage rolls anywhere! They always disappoint. Maybe nostalgia has made them seem better than they were.

This is my experience as well! I often miss UK food I ate as a kid. Makes me a suckered for any business doing pub food. But, despite the popularity of the GBBO, I don't see Victoria Sponge about in the US.

Everything looks wonderful. I'd love to eat it all!

I love your Newfoundland food posts. I'm sorry that people are weird assholes all the time.

I forgot to add "I don't care what anyone thinks, I like that movie...", but actually 2019 Charlie's Angels is my guilty pleasure movie; I love it!

Everybody love that movie!!

People get fired for being vocally rude to customers even when they aren't proudly racist about it. This is a weird take, Atlantic.

Talk about every vote counting!!

Also, this is a weird song to use for a montage of arrests?

I make a pretty good turkey that comes out pretty moist and flavourful, but I think next year I'm going to make something more interesting. No matter how good the turkey is it's always still just...turkey. Maybe I'll make duck.

Somebody somewhere said they envisioned "I'll be Watching You" as being from a dog's point of view, and now I do, too. Suddenly it's adorable and I imagine the pet owner is on holiday and that's why the dog is missing them. Come home to your puppers, dammit!
