I never thought I’d say this, but Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is right. We can’t allow premiums for millions of Americans to double overnight.

Washington Republicans should work with us to fund health care and end this shutdown now.

I refuse to act like this is business as usual.

A million Georgians will see health care payments double if DC Republicans get their way.

Georgians sent me here to fight for them and that’s exactly what I intend to do.

Two years ago, Israel was attacked in a horrific act of terrorism and violence by Hamas. As we remember the victims, I remain hopeful we will achieve a permanent ceasefire, lasting peace, and return of the hostages so that Palestinian & Israeli children can live in a world where they are all safe.

Americans don’t need the chaos and confusion this administration has caused from day one. Increasing the cost of health care and shutting down the government is just more chaos for working people.

Who is this administration working for?

Over a million people in Georgia alone are set to pay hundreds more every month for their health care if DC Republicans get their way. It’s not right.

I’m calling on my Republican colleagues to do the right thing. Fund health care and reopen the government now.

The average Georgian who purchases health insurance on Georgia Access will see their premiums DOUBLE next year.

We can fix this by extending tax credits. Yet Republicans would rather shut down the government instead. Why?
warnock.senate.gov
Republicans can end this shutdown any time they want by funding health care.
warnock.senate.gov
Let’s be clear: I don’t want a government shutdown. But I won’t accept raising the already high costs of health care for millions of Americans, closing hospitals, and making people sicker.

These are the lowest cost insurance options for a 62 year old Georgian making $65k.

2025: $228
2026: $1142

She will lose $704/month in credits because of GOP cuts to health care.

This is a crisis. We cannot wait to fix this.

On what would have been his 101st birthday, I’m remembering Jimmy Carter. He was a great Georgian whose faith came alive in humble, public service and in the quest for human dignity.

G'mar Chatimah Tova.

This Yom Kippur, I want to wish my Jewish brothers and sisters a meaningful fast on this day of reflection & atonement.

I was sent this by a Georgian this morning. 2025 premiums vs 2026 premiums for someone making $65k a year.

Republicans in Washington did this.

This is what I'm fighting to stop. This is what’s at stake in this shutdown fight.
warnock.senate.gov
If the government shuts down, it's on Republicans in Washington who are choosing partisan politics over your health care.

I cannot, in good conscience, support a budget that will allow health insurance premiums to double for 1 million+ Georgians.
warnock.senate.gov
Starting tomorrow Georgians will be able to log on and see their health insurance rates for next year.

Sadly, many will see that their premiums have doubled or more because of Republican cuts.

This is why I cannot vote for a budget that fails to fund health care.

I met with a constituent who was participating in a cancer treatment trial that DOGE deemed unnecessary. I was proud to help advocate for Richard so he could resume his treatment.

Cancer patients are not waste, fraud, and abuse. They're our loved ones who deserve care.

I’m horrified by the violence at an LDS Church in Michigan today. I’m praying for the injured & the family of the dead. As a pastor, I’m especially saddened to see an act of heinous violence like this committed in a place of worship. Pray for our nation to overcome this epidemic of violence.

Republicans have robbed millions of Americans of basic healthcare, will soon raise the healthcare premiums of almost everybody else and are now poised to use their sweeping power to shut the government down. I’m fighting for everyday Georgians. Who in the world are they fighting for??!

I’m appalled by the violence in Dallas today. I’m praying for the families of the detainees who lost their loved ones and for the quick recovery of the injured.

All of us must come together and stand against the violence and hate.

Shana Tovah! I wish the entire Jewish community across Georgia and the world a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year. During this time of reflection, I pray the spirit of renewal restores us all.

The President made the biggest cut to food assistance in our nation’s history.

Families will go hungry so Trump’s billionaire friends can get richer.

They can hide the numbers. They can bury the reports. But they cannot hide this moral tragedy from the eyes of God.

Democracy is the political enactment of a spiritual idea.

It is the notion that each of us has a spark of the divine within us.

That’s worth fighting for.
