does it make mistakes? yes obviously that's why im still there, but it also can generate a lot of mostly accurate code very quickly. which is useful given there are a lot of repititive tasks when writing code!

i think it's incredibly good bc i write code for a living and llms have made that job significantly easier

llms are already incredibly good at writing code. and it's early to draw too many conclusions but it appears to be showing up in labor data for software engineers

murder is bad! it doesn't matter who gets murdered. for the same reason it's bad when racists try to find every little crime a black man murdered by the police committed to justify the murder, it's bad to pretend it's ok that a health insurance ceo was murdered bc of the operations of his company!
