I'm the "chef" in my household and I'm actually enjoying looking into more "historical" cooking - 1800's and earlier. There's a YT channel I follow called "Townsends" that goes into the history of foods and it's actually very enjoyable. Most cookbooks can be found on The Internet Archive.
