3/3 Thats what I mean by World's messy canon I dont think you're meant to think about the angry game dev stuff too hard. I dont think 4s final speaker is actually having a fued with some indie dev lol.

2/3 Not to say that it cant currently be the case, more like when World was released I dont think you were supposed to take the stuff that didnt have clear canon ties very seriously and think about it too hard.

1/3 Not totally sure if World is included in the whole indie games plot but I wouldnt at all be surprised if it is.

That being said I doubt World was made with that intent given that plotline was made to justify Help Wanted being a canon game, which only came about two years after World.

He called it tied to canon, which the clock route undeniably is. FNaF is no stranger to being messy with canon and I dont see why World wouldn't be.

None of this is to say World has no bearing on canon, I just wouldnt call it quite mainline with how meta it gets.

Thats not even counting the Halloween area full of games made by desk man that has characters of questionable canonicity, and characters from Scott's previous games reappearing in World like Coffee or Flan.

World is a game thats aware its a game and Animdude refers to himself as the storyteller who's grown sick of his fans. Hes also frequently referred to as the puppet master and even called the heart of what's corrupting world by Fredbear. Like what is this meant to stand in for in universe?

Okay but World frequently breaks the fourth wall, there's even an attack joking about it.

Chipper talks about how we wanted to be scared and his world fell into obscurity because of that. Fredbear and desk man reference World initially bombing. Neither of these really make sense in universe.

I'm well aware of the initial backlash of the prequels, especially the Phantom Menace, I just don't get the revisionism

The Disney movies certainly have issues but I don't get how they convinced people the prequels were secretly good or even better than the sequel trilogy

Revenge of the Sith is the only half decent one but it suffers a lot of the same script/pacing issues as the other two. It's much better focused but I did not buy Anakin's turn to the dark side.

I can see how people might like this one but I just did not buy it sorry.

Attack of the Clones is arguably worse than Phantom Menace because it's more awkward and nonsense but it's not as boring so it's better even if like, almost every aspect is worse.

He's so fascinating, so much time and effort is devoted to him for really no reason besides him just being obnoxious. I would love to know what went through Lucas's head with him like did he just find him really funny or what.

Phantom Menace is shockingly boring I was genuinely appalled at how boring it is I genuinely almost fell asleep from watching it.

Jar Jar was unironically one of the best parts because he's such an absurd character to be put in this movie he's the least boring part of it.

Draw a head connected to a torso and erase everything else but the connection between them
