Luckily, that's no longer true, and their compilation is now guarded using CI. Hence, you can now run an MCP server using a simple script and the scala-cli runner, starting with any of the examples below:

Part of that last talk was live-releasing Ox 1.0, and if it wasn't for a vigilant audience member, I'd have forgotten to check if the release actually happened by the end of the talk ;) (it did).
