写真家 篠山紀信さんの訃報に触れました。
紀信さんはわさおを撮影をされたことがあります。当日は降水確率95％の予報でしたが、なぜか曇り空で済んだのがとても不思議で記憶に残っています。わさおの晴れ男伝説に加えて紀信さんに寄り添う写真の神様が力を貸してくれたのでしょう、きっと。
この頃わさおは、必ずしも毛並みが万全ではありませんでした。にも関わらず、紀信さんの撮られた写真には、いつも以上に迫力と愛嬌があるわさおが写っていました。
撮られる側としても素晴らしいサービス精神の持ち主でした。記念写真をお願いした際には、様々な表情を見せてくださいました。
謹んで御冥福をお祈りいたします。
