The frontal lobe aspect is very concerning…less empathy in a world that needs more and worsened risk assessment are both very concerning…to say the least. I try to keep these in the forefront of my mind these days.

I think that Covid just became yet another “inconvenient truth” for most everyone.
Yet, turning a blind eye to it doesn’t make it go away.
Maybe there’s varying “reasons”…but I have to think that selfishness and greed are at the center as they are in all of our world’s problems.
I continue to 😷.

WCK’s newest Field Kitchen in Gaza, the Salam Kitchen in Deir al-Balah, is up and running! The team here prepared tens of thousands of hot meals on their first day, adding to our existing network in a major step towards our goal of 1 million meals daily for Palestinian families. (1/2)

Raya, 89, was in her apartment during a recent attack in Dnipro. WCK's #ChefsForUkraine team brought meals & water to her. She showed us shrapnel damage she narrowly escaped. In September alone, WCK delivered nearly 9,000 meals to families in this region impacted by Russian strikes.

Russian attacks across Ukraine on Sunday night included strikes near Kyiv. An attack in the village of Petropavlivska Borshchahivka hit an apartment building where Serhii, part of WCK’s #ChefsForUkraine team, lives. We responded quickly, bringing hot meals for residents & first responders.
