I’ve taken to wearing contacts at shows instead of my contacts, but at MSG the smoke is so irritating that I still wear glasses.

How’s the ice up there? We walked home from a neighbor’s house last night and it was very bad. I hear it still precipitating but no way I’m getting out of bed yet.

We have so much to be thankful for, and it’s the result of millions of diverse people working together, often without knowing where it will lead, and then suddenly the whole world is made anew with what they created. There’s so much good new tech and science, and LLMs ain’t it.

My dad’s side of the family arrived shortly before buying the farm we still own. That was only a couple of generations ago, my dad’s grandfather was the first generation born here. The timbers in our barns are hundreds of years old, they are heritage.

The longest I’ve been out is 4 nights, winter backpacking, and that first shower back home works miracles. But the ski shower, that one I get many times a year, and it’s usually followed by PJs and a long peaceful slumber.

I’ve tried to talk my parents into the idea, I think my mom could really benefit from one. When I’m a similar age, I will surely want to live in a place there a similar trike gets me anywhere I want to go on a daily basis.
