Anyways yea the people do, by and large make the country. This is why I dont care about recognizing illegitimate govts or also why Israel by and large is a far along case study of what happens when insane nationalism is propped up and told its justified because of existential threats.

Heres the disconnect; if the nazis end up harming their own people as well then you absolutely end up with more nazis in power. Any country that rationalizes a far right militant plan as a means of self defense is not about self defense of some weird form of nationalist pride.

Lets say Ukraine won independence, do you think a highly radicalized and propped up white supremacist military would benefit everyone in the long term? Are fundamentalist groups beneficial for a recovering nation? Can we ask like; every country america prodded into wars and instability?

Understanding the long term effects of propping up a smaller nation warned not to enter NATO by encouraging them to try and join NATO feels like a very FAFO thing, and it was never a good idea. I dislike both of those countries policies.

I dont think releasing azov batallion in any capacity is "sometimes an enemy of my enemy is a friend" situation because a nazi shouldnt be anyones friend. They literally harm everyone by proximity. That is what is being said. Sure they may fight russia but do you think they arent abusive inwards too

Russia shouldn't have invaded and Ukraine shouldn't have thought the USA ever cared about their own sovereignty or peoples. They also shouldn't have tried to join NATO (when NATO doesnt even want them) when things like this were expressly said as reasons for said invasion.

I was opposed to the way Ukraine was propped up against Russia because it was obviously going to end in concessions and a war ravaged landscape like Afghanistan. Hey whats the new peace deal with their concessions of giving up land and a smaller military? Lots of people died for what again?
