Specimen No. 4 is a small, translucent jellyfish collected near Keyport on the Olympic Peninsula. Not much else is known about the little marine animal, stored in a glass jar labeled with cursive handwriting, other than the date it was collected: July 30, 1899. #WSU

Philip Meech (’00 Finance, Busi.) began roasting coffee in his parents’ garage in August 2000, a few months after his #WSU graduation. He was 23. His parents were his business partners. They started small, roasting just 7 pounds at a time. #GoCougs
