Sort of like my other account only this one is in color and might have some recipes. Because food doesn't look so good in black and white. Also, some science, maybe.

While I was typing this, David Mack decided to deal with the fact that I was presenting a reasoned argument against his proposal - one that I had initially supported - by blocking me and then libeling me, thinking (I guess) that I wouldn't be able to see what he wrote or defend myself from it.

But for a few hours, she will have been happy, and sometimes, that's all one can ask for.

If she still needs to run around, no problem. Just two miles away, downtown, she can enter the Pedway and walk for miles without ever having to go outside.

My nieces and nephews wouldn't lie to me about that.

"No, where did the Summer go? I want it back."

This is why every city that has cold winters needs indoor conservatories. They're like really big greenhouses. Just imagine how much happier she'd be running around in here.

The night offers a simple (seeming) route to minimalism in photography, the lack of light stripping away details. But then comes the matter of exposure time, and that of setting up a tripod in the dark, on ground that is never quite as level as it looks, I suppose.

My banner, for now.

This might get replaced a bit sooner than my avatar, given how close I am to Lake Michigan, and to a number of far smaller bodies of water in the Chicago area.

Yes, my avatar is a stock photo.

I will replace it, someday, when I can afford (and have purchased) the high speed equipment needed to capture a photo like this one.
