🟦 #DidYouKnow -In 2008 #Rangers competed as an inaugural member of 'SuperLeague Formula'. It was akin to F1, except for Football Clubs. We participated in the 18 car series for 2yrs and even won a race at Donington Circuit. Our best season finish was 10th with 3 podium finishes

🖤Remembering Colin Jackson, born #OTD in 1946. Between 1963-82 he made 519 appearances for #Rangers, scoring 41 goals in 3 different decades, and became 1 of only 15 Club players to play over 500 games. 'Bomber' won 3 Titles, 3 Scottish Cups & 5 League Cups, including 2 Trebles

💙Happy 43rd Birthday to former #Rangers player & coach, Jermain Defoe OBE. Joined on loan from Bournemouth in 2019 before later making the move permanent. He scored his 300th career goal while with us and scored 32 goals in 74 games aswell as winning our 55th League Title.

💙Happy 43rd Birthday Madjid Bougherra. Joined #Rangers from Charlton for £2.5m in 2008 and went onto score 5 goals in 113 games and won our PotY Award, the PFA Goal of the season Award, aswell as 3 Titles, 2 League Cups & 1 Scottish Cup before joining Lekhwiya in 2011 for £1.7m

💙Happy 44th Birthday Zurab Khizanishvili. Alex McLeish signed him for free from Dundee in 2003. In 2 years he played 63 games for #Rangers and helped us win our Helicopter Sunday Title and a League Cup. He joined Blackburn on loan in 2005 before signing permanently for £500k.

🗓 #OnThisDay 1️⃣9️⃣8️⃣8️⃣ : #Rangers sign Neale Cooper from Aston Villa for £250k. Injuries restricted him to 1 goal in 20 games, but he did win a League Cup to add to his collections of 2 Titles, 4 Scottish Cups, 1 League Cup, 1 ECWC & 1 UEFA Super Cup. Neale sadly died in 2018.
