I think in terms of like "Someone says they want to get into the mecha genre/get more into it" people really sleep on reccomending the 2000s SR revival stuff. Either directly or indirectly grts people thinking about older stuff and is also actually good.

Enokido is like pretty definitively a guy that likes yuri/shojo aesthetic and uses those standalone of any narrative weight but also like star driver and the one episode of UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie he wrote probably gayer than most other things.

Of the mecha yuri stuff (that is like about that rather than a side thing cause i can not think of those off the top of my head rn) I can think of idk how much I would really say is like class sy other than kinda iczer 1 and pretty fully diebuster

I legitimately think NeWataru is the only post 2010s kids mecha thing that isn't just "trying to get kids into the genre" the way something like shinkalion or gundam build is. It's bleak.

"Otaku fandom" people refusing to ever view the past as anything other than "People liked the things I liked so they made more things i liked" will hopefully eventually kill all of them off due to them snapping their own spine trying to eat their own shit.

The Gwitch "Actually being gay is normal here :)" line is so annoying because it just defangs everything that's happening. Society can't be too bad, the characters parents can't be too bad, etc etc. Makes it feel like it's not even trying to say anything about what it's about.

So often during split screen commanders would dissappear mid combo it sucked bad. Hope you enjoy the game btw, ignoring the jank i had a good time with it.

Played some of 2 with error over parsec, is the like fog and enemies disappearing as bad single player as it is split screen?
