So, I came across the phrase "endangered cryptid". Now, wouldn't any cryptid that actually exists be endangered? If there was a large, thriving population of sasquatches in, say, the Pacific Northwest, wouldn't we not only know of them for sure, but have it fully classified in regular biology?
