Not my usual style but I think it’s ok! Took the controversial decision not to smooth the top of the lid at all.

All trimmed. Doing the bare minimum with most of these vases at the leather hard stage. Don’t have it in me to throw today, I’m exhausted.

Managed to get a couple of hours at the wheel. Pleased with these. Smaller is 2lbs, new clay.

Haven’t really explored throwing sharp angles much but this came out well. Trying to work out what I can do with 1kg of clay samples, small pot and two test tiles should work

I had a small hiatus from making, mostly due to a nasty virus dovetailing into a mental health dip, but here’s a sneak peak of my Forest Matt Green on the paler clay. (Once I have enough, I’ll do a shop restock. In the meantime, there are pots up here, all ship to the UK

This clay is coming out with (what I assume is) a streak of iron and I’m sure I should wedge it in but I am a fan of how it looks.

Thinking about form. Made the last ones today, and I think that’s my preferred shape. Shoulders, rather than butt or waist. Feels to me like they’re at the top of their in breath.
