A friend of mine in Portugal was trying to send me a package, but learned that he couldn’t because Portugal is restricting mail to the US.
The US deserves to be alienated for its crimes against humanity, but it still really hurts for those of us who are suffering.

Mainstream media is suppressing info. I learned today that there was a shooting at the CDC in which the shooter fired 500 rounds, shattering over 100 windows, and killing a policeman

If I were a different person—one who didn’t know how to bite his tongue—I’d probably fly off the handle at *ahem* someone telling me that they got a promotion right after I mention being in a financial crisis. But. Thankfully, I’m a bit better than that. Still… I’m pretty irked ngl

Been trying hard not to lash out at well-meaning people in my life for suggesting that I not take all of the news to heart. I get what they’re saying, but I can’t help but want everyone to be just as outraged as I am. Apathy is what got us here in the first place!! Fuck anyone who denies that.

Trump is inviting Putin to the US and I’m borderline physically ill over the constant onslaught of horrific news, day-in and day-out. I have to watch my country’s civil rights be upended; confederate monuments be reinstated; budget cuts to critical healthcare that will UNDOUBTEDLY kill Americans
