This I could see from my little perch: the tops of the trees. Very cool. Lake Michigan in the background. Very, very beautiful and curvy drive on 22 northward. My little Chevy pickup didn't like it much. It couldn't decide what gear to pick. I miss the old 4 speeds that let you pick. 🤪

Stairway to Heaven, Michigan style. Took a little road trip this week to Manistee. Never been in that area but found it quite nice. Being old and infirmed, I can't do much but look around now. We went north to Arcadia and ran across this outlook. Wish I could have seen what was up there.

Had a little road trip this week, to a lovely little town in northwest Michigan: Frankfort. On the shore of Lake Michigan. A beautiful place.

It's probably just me, but I can't get past how little outrage there is about the possibility Trump may join in the bombing of Iran. I know he floats stupid ideas all the time but this involves going to war. Where is the outrage? Probably just me.

Sally #2. Our 2nd farm cat who showed up our doorstep. Normally our dog Gage would have been slobbering everywhere. He hated cats. But he stood there at the door wagging his tail, looking thru the glass at her. My Dad looked at me and said, "better get some cat food". She was my gardening buddy. 🥰

My Mom. In Germany, in the mid 50s, pregnant with my brother. My Dad was stationed there. She had that 50s thing going on then. I miss her every day. Love you Mom. ❤️
