Both are good! I tend to write in present tense more often but I've also written in past tense. (I also play around w/3rd person vs 2nd person) Present tends to feel more action-y to me personally, but if you're not sure what kind you might want, then a cool trick is to take the same passage written

Almost all premade poses have the lady shorter, so I always have to do a ton of extra work when posing with Catboy and wife, or make my own poses, but it's really satisfying when it turns out nice in the end.
