Democrats could have prosecuted everyone involved in January 6th, they could have stopped funding a genocide, they could have not increased funding for ICE while they were in power so that it was easily handed over to fascists, but it's the people that said those are good ideas that are the villains

Nobody is saying Republicans aren't worse. The point is that Dems have now twice tried, "look how bad that guy is. We'll do the things he wants but not as bad" and this is more of the same. The point being made is that Democrats need to sell making people's lives better, not less miserable
