I think the source of my current depression is really simply that I have flown way too close to the sun and got burned in terms of connecting to communities.
Being left in the dust by the people I looked up to mirroring what happened 8 years ago reminds me I never grew up.
I hate it.

When I was 5 years old I played RTCW for the first time and these would genuinely send me into a panic attack because of the wind up sound and the atmosphere of the game.

I am DONE with Replay and I am SO happy I got to re-experience it and all its weird quirks specific to it.

If there's one thing about battle tech / mechwarrior that I love is no matter how old a game is. You can immediately identify it by its silhouette if you're familiar with it enough.
