The point I am making is that there is no point comparing Brennan to anyone currently in the squad because he offers something unique, but is not a dribbly winger fans are obsessed with. The question is do we bin him because all he does is score or do we leverage him because all he does is score?

Brennan is not even in the same post code as JD, completely different players. You say we don’t need 3 strikers so you’re actually making the case for leaving Brennan to do what he does best - ghosting in from the flanks and ending attacks, not creating them

Then who is going to ghost into the box at the far post and finish moves off if he has to drop deep and hold the ball up like Richie and Dom? Leverage what he is got at.
